  • Device & Usage Data: IP address, approximate geographical location derived from IP, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Tool-Call & Integration Diagnostics: When you interact with Syllaby via third-party AI assistants or MCP tools, we automatically log execution data—including User ID, workspace ID, requested tool name, execution timestamp, and tool execution status/outcome—for operational debugging, security monitoring, rate limiting, and system stability.

  • Scraped Web Content: When you prompt our tools or MCP endpoints to analyze external web links (e.g., via script generation or research tools), we retrieve raw text and image content from the specified URLs via third-party web extraction providers.

3. Connected AI Apps & MCP Integrations (ChatGPT, Claude & AI Assistants)

You may connect your Syllaby account to third-party artificial intelligence platforms, plugins, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients—including OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and custom assistant clients. The AI assistant acts as an agent executing commands on your Syllaby account at your explicit direction.

A. How Authorization Works & Revocation

Connections are established using OAuth authentication or user-generated Syllaby API keys. You select which specific workspace the assistant can access. Access tokens expire after 12 hours, and inactive connections expire after 30 days. You can revoke access at any time through your Syllaby Account Settings or within the third-party client application.

B. Data Returned to AI Assistants

When an AI assistant executes a tool call, our backend returns structured data required to complete your request. Data returned to the assistant may include:

  • Your name, email address, workspace name, workspace ID, team owner name, credit balance, and plan state.
  • Generated topics, full video scripts, video titles, captions, presets, storyboards, and scheduled post details.
  • Direct media URLs to rendered videos, generated images, and uploaded files hosted on our Content Delivery Network (CDN).
  • Connected social media channel names, account avatars, publication statuses, live post URLs, and platform publishing error details.
  • Temporary upload authorization links (valid for 60 minutes) and social account authorization links.

Data transmitted to third-party AI assistants is governed by the respective privacy policies and user settings of those AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). We do not control how third-party platforms retain or process data sent to them.
